This is the reason why I never attempted to maintain a blog... I can't! Hahah. In my last post, my parting words were that I would be recollecting (supported by pictures) all the past birthdays that I've had. Lo and behold, the only thing I've done for it is to mentally recall my birthdays and possible visual accompaniments to go with it for the blog. Alas, I never got to post them (nor even search for those pictures I had in mind). So, what to do now? My birthday has come and gone and contrary to my belief a week before the actual day, it turned out a happy one indeed. Remember in my last post where I already had a plan on how to spend it? Well, it did as planned!
Aaaand! I actually got to purchase that limited edition watch. Woohoo! All is well and good. :)
I spent the very first minute of my birthday inside the movie house, excited on how Eclipse will be played out on film. (well, technically, I think the first minute was spent standing for the national anthem ;)) It ended around 2 am and unfortunately, Hooters was already closed (which would have been a perfect hangout place) so I just went home to get some rest. The afternoon of my birthday, I went back to the same mall I watched Eclipse at and simply strolled around (and by stroll, I mean I managed to shop AGAIN, darn it!). For some reason, I find some sadness in staying home for your birthday so for the simple reason of spending it outside, I did.
(This way to the celebrant =p) I found it cool that we were literally the only ones left parked at the building... It screamed photo op!
I decided (on a whim) to get a haircut and for the sake of documentation, this is the before shot.
And, this is the after shot. I personally believe I look younger post-haircut. I'm amazed with the wonders of what haircuts can do to modify your look. And in this case, it bought me a couple of years' youth :)
I'm happy I got to spend my birthday the way I did. After all, it was Eclipse's first day and did I mention, a special holiday? I hope 6 years from now, it will again be a special holiday :)
'Til then (oh, I'm not implying that the next blog I'll be posting will be 6 years from now =p),

Tick Tock
So my birth month has officially started which gives me the creeps. (hahah). I'm not exactly looking forward to it for one reason. I feel like I'm really growing old! A big reason for that feeling is the fact that I'm nearly turning FOUR years at my current job (which happens to be my first!) I don't think most people my age stay that long in one company. I can still remember my very first day at work. I just left the teen age, insecure and feeling inadequate. Fast forward to almost four years later, I can say things have changed a bit.
On the flip side, I'm a bit excited for my birthday.. I'm a certified Twilight fan and I was pleasantly surprised to know that Eclipse will be first shown on my birthday!!! (Now there's a big chance you already know when the BIG day is =p) It's such a perfect way to celebrate it.
Over lunch today, I went around the mall nearest my office and passed by this store. Their ad caught my attention and holy geez.. It's a limited edition eclipse watch that comes with a necklace! My golly I want one! The catch is they only made 1,000 pieces worldwide, which all the more makes me want to buy it! It's gonna be so cool to watch Eclipse on my birthday wearing that watch. *drool* :)
Starting June 6, I'll try recollecting all my past birthdays and hopefully be able to support it with pictures. It's gonna be a sweet ride. :) 'til then!

Newbie in town
First off, aloha!
For years now, I have been contemplating on regularly keeping an online blog which would serve as my venting instrument of whatever comes to mind, heart and soul; I never got to actually follow through. A friend whom I reconnected with (after months of not seeing each other!) actually influenced me (unconsciously on her part) to get on with creating mine.
The past months have been a serious whirlwind for me. From serious ups and downs (mostly downs), I have kept the boat afloat. I don't know how I got through those sucky moments but I did. Last Saturday, turned my sucky feeling into a complete opposite. I guess you could blame it on the fact that I got to see some of my friends again. It's been quite a while since I last saw them.
Another reason for my trigger happy mode is that I finally got to purchase my dream laptop! After many thoughtful considerations, second thoughts and financial analysis, I finallyFINALLYfinally purchased it. Woohoo!
(I look like a kid who got her much awaited gift from Santa! Hahahah!)
I was such in a rush the day I met my friends, which is the same day I got Cali (yes, I name my gadgets) that I wasn't able to spend much time exploring Photo Booth with them. :( This just calls for another session of pure camwhoring, PB style :)
When I got home that day, I literally just changed clothes and went off to explore my new toy. I got so engrossed with it that I actually didn't sleep! Before I knew it, the sun already rose and an hour or two after, I was already being summoned for breakfast. I just got to sleep at around 11am! After taking a nap (would a 3-hour snooze be considered a nap?), I resumed to exploring Cali and FB-ing. In this day and age, I don't think anyone would get by without checking their FB accounts! =p
So what point am I getting at after all this blabbing? After quite some time, I am happy. Happy because I got to see my friends. Happy because I actually made one dream of mine a reality. It really feels different when a thing you've wanted so bad eventually becomes yours because of your own doing. :)
So let me end this by posting more pictures from THE epic day that turned my life around. :)
